Frequently Asked Questions
Below you will find the answer to a range of frequently asked questions in relation to dog obedience. However if your question is not answered below, please contact The Paw Professor via phone or email with any extra questions you might have. When it comes to dogs, no question is too big or too small!

- What age or breed of dogs do you work with?
All ages and all breeds! Generally speaking, behaviour modification can occur irrespective of the age and breed of a dog. - How long will it take to train or correct my dog?
This can vary on the length of time the dog has developed the habit, the number of behaviour modifications you want to achieve, and to what standard. Objectives can be achieved in just one hour, or over a few sessions, but you should see modifications commence immediately. For a more accurate timeframe, simply contact The Paw Professor via email or phone to discuss your dog's needs, or for an obligation free quote. - Can you work on multiple dogs at once, especially if they're from the same household?
Absolutely! This would be recommended and at small additional cost. - We have a family dog, can our children be involved in the training?
Yes, in fact, it's highly recommended the entire family is present during your dog's training session. A consistent approach from all family members will help achieve behaviour modification. It's also an ideal opportunity for children to better understand how dogs think, and use these skills for future encounters with other dogs. - Do you have a standard price list for particular services?
Because every case is different, I prefer to provide a quote once I have a better idea of the issues and objectives of training. I am always happy to discuss your needs, and provide an obligation free quote based on the estimated time required for training. Click here to get started! - Do you work weekends or just weekdays?
I am available to work 7 days a week, easily fitting around your lifestyle and commitments to ensure the best possible outcome for you and your dog.
